Having recently celebrated its first year without founder Kjell Inge Røkke in the driver's seat, the American Seafoods Group has proved that it manages very well without him. The company, which laid the foundation for Rokke's fortune, continues to rake in millions of dollars.
A good year "We achieved just over three billion Norwegian kroner in turnover," President and CEO Bernt O. Bodal, told IntraFish. This is an increase of nearly 25 per cent on the previous year. Bodal declined to comment on net profit margins but said "shareholders are happy with the operation".
