In response to the letter from Scott Nichols posted on your website on Feb. 23, there is indeed a huge potential for the aquaculture industry to contribute to global food security, and an adequate supply of high quality, responsibly sourced feed ingredients is a vital part of this future.
However, it would be untrue and unfair to characterize marine-origin feed ingredients as being an obstacle to growth.
