Bergen-based Leroy Seafood Group is merging two of its companies, Leroy Midnor and Hydrotech, according to an announcement at the Bronnoysund Register Center.
Neither CEO Henning Beltestad or Stig Nilsen, executive director of aquaculture, or Sjur Malm, the company's CFO, commented to IntraFish about the merger plans.
According to the message sent to the register center, Leroy Midnor is the acquiring company in the deal.
Leroy Midnor has 30 farming licenses and an annual harvest of about 35,000 metric tons. Leroy Hydrotech has 24 licenses and a harvest of around 24,000 metric tons.
