Norwegian salmon farmer is seeing great potential for what it calls its premium sashimi grade Aurora salmon in Singapore.
The country has now become the first Asian market to see the brand launched, after it was introduced in Japan six years ago, Ashild Nakken, marketing manager at Hallvard Leroy in Asia, told IntraFish sister publication Fiskeribladet Fiskaren.
The product, which was developed by Leroy in collaboration with Japanese customers, was launched in Singapore last week.
The salmon was produced in northern Norway, and Nakken hopes it will take the Singaporean market by storm.
