Norwegian salmon producer Leroy Group recently set up base in Turkey, purchasing a 50 percent stake in its long-time partner Alarko during the first quarter of this year.
Operating as Leroy Turkey, the company now fully owns and runs its operations in the country, with headquarters in Istanbul, and a processing, packaging and smoking plant in Izmit, about 100 kilometers from Istanbul.
Leroy Turkey’s plant stretches across an area of 2,850 square meters, and has a processing capacity of 3,000 metric tons of fish annually.
