Oslo-listed Leroy Seafood Group plans to start production of fresh sushi at the company's new facility in Madrid, Spain, in the spring of 2014.
"In a move to further develop our strong downstream business segment, we opened a new facility in the center of Madrid, Spain, in September 2013," said CEO Henning Beltestad in the company's annual report.
The facility is a processing and distribution plant for fresh seafood products for both the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
"We achieved a gradual increase in production during the autumn and are very satisfied with the developments to date," said Beltestad.
