The company is applying to expand production capacity at its smolt raising facility in Belsvik, Hemne from current capacity of 1 million to 14 million smolt.
Efforts have been ongoing for some time to get the expansion in place. The build will be completed in two stages and will cover 9,943 square meters. The extension to the facility means that parts of the present premises must be demolished.
The plan is for the new build to have a system for recycling of water.
