Oslo-listed Leroy Seafood Group purchased 39.74 percent of the shares in Villa Organic, just days after SalMar increased its stake to 36 percent.
The company purchased the shares at an average price of NOK 2.85 (€0.38/$0.49) per share.
The rate Leroy paid for the company's 16 licenses comes to about NOK 410 million (€54.8 million/$70.9 million), which means NOK 25 million (€3.3 million/$4.3 million) per license.
"The reason for the purchase is that we have a lot of activity in the north," Henning Beltestad, CEO at Leroy, told IntraFish.
