Imported scallops that have been traced to a hepatitis A outbreak were only sold in Hawaii at Genki Sushi restaurants, according to one of the two Honolulu distributors linked by state health officials to the spread of the disease, reports Pacific Business News.

Hawaii's Department of Health on Tuesday ordered an embargo of all frozen imported scallops products distributed by Koha and True World Foods.

"This particular brand was only sold to Genki," Dane Nakamura, chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Koha Oriental Foods, told Pacific Business News.
