Maiko van der Meer, general director at Klaas Puul, will leave his role with the Dutch shrimp processor by April 1, he told IntraFish.
Van der Meer said he will focus on advisory and consultancy work for financial investors in the seafood industry -- something he started working on about a year ago.
In addition, he is taking on two advisory roles at seafood companies, whose names he declined to share.
