As the only organic farmed cod company in the region, Johnson's No Catch...Just Cod brand cod costs more because it’s sold to consumers as a healthier, natural and sustainable product.
Since the May 2006 launch of its No Catch...Just Cod brand, the company has been recognized by several environmental groups, including Greenpeace, the Organic Food Federation, the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), Friends of the Sea and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCS). The cod farming system has been approved by the government's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).
