Japanese fish and seafood imports remained stable in July this year at 212,583 metric tons, up marginally 0.1 percent year-on-year.
The total import value amounted to JPY 133.8 billion (€977.2 million/$1.3 billion), at average unit prices of JPY 629 (€4.60/$5.90) per kg, slightly down from JPY 630 (€4.60/$5.90) per kilo last year.
