The retail and wholesale seafood buyers were selected by Sento Gyorui Co., one of the top buyers of Alaska seafood in Japan. The six-person group arrives in Seattle on June 29 and is in Alaska from June 30 to July 3. They depart Seattle on July 5.
"We have a longstanding relationship with this company becaseu they are a very important Alaska seafood supplier in Japan," ASMI spokeswoman Laura Fleming told IntraFish. "Japan remains our most important seafood trade partners. We need them to compete in the global marketplace."
