Infectious Salmon Anemia (ISA) has been confirmed at two aquaculture operations in Canada, reported the local website VOCM.com

One case was at a Cooke Aquaculture site in Manuel's Arm, affecting two cages, while the other case involves 21 cages at a Grey Aquaculture site at Pass My Can Island.

 “Grey Aquaculture has been particularly hard hit with three separate cases of ISA this year alone, said Cyr Couturier, executive director of the Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association.
