AquaChile’s year-on-year exports dropped by more than half in July, from $30.2 million (€20.4 million) to $14.2 million (€9.6 million), El Mercurio reported. Exports at Multiexport and Camanchaca plummeted 50 percent and 76 percent, respectively.
Chile's salmon industry’s exports fell 26 percent in July, to $149.7 million (€101.1 million) from $202.2 million (€136.5 million) last year.
Exports at Marine Harvest Chile were down about one-third in July, falling from $29.4 million (€19.8 million) to $9.5 million (€6.4 million), and they fell 49 percent for the Jan.
