Smaller sized Norwegian salmon prices are expected to suffer in the coming week due to an outbreak of infectious salmon anemia (ISA) in Nordland in Norway, which resulted in bigger supply of small fish on the market.
However, fish between 4 and 6 kilograms are maintaining the high price, with the biggest fish expected to fetch higher prices than in week 27.
Smaller sizes are affected by the price reduction, while the rest will maintain a relatively stable price, one exporter told IntraFish.
