According to the regional economic activity indicator (INACER) drawn up by the National Statistics Bureau (INE), the regional economy contracted 19.4 percent through September.

Decreases in the forestry, agricultural and fishery sectors had the largest negative effect on economic activity in Region 10, the bureau said, with the latter having “negative results in all the subsectors. Aquaculture-related products and activities had the greatest impact.”
