Four Ireland-based seafood companies, McBride Fishing, Carr Shellfish, Sofrimar and Shellfish de La Mer, have joined forces to market the new brand Ocean Jade in China.
At the same time, they launched a JV company, Jade Ireland Seafood Limited, with an office based in Shanghai, the companies said at the China Fisheries and Seafood Expo in Dalian on Wednesday.
Individually, the four companies have collective revenues of €45 million ($57.6 million) with established clients in France, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Korea.
