Plymouth seafood firm Interfish has admitted safety failings over death of worker who was crushed by pallets in October 2013, reports The Plymouth Herald.

A stack of pallets toppled over and fell on Tomas Suchy in a cold store room at Interfish’s Cattedown factory.

An inquest last year found Suchy died as the result of an accident, and at Plymouth Crown Court on Feb 15, Interfish admitted failing to ensure the health, safety and welfare of its employees in a prosecution brought by the Health and Safety Executive.
