Exporters of frozen shrimp from India who the US Department of Commerce has accused of selling their products in the U.S. for below fair value filed a lawsuit in the US Court of International Trade on Thursday alleging Commerce overestimated their dumping margins, reports Law360.
The 24 foreign shrimp harvesters and exporters said the department, while conducting its seventh administrative review of the tariffs on their shrimp, improperly used its targeted dumping methodology -- instead of its normal dumping calculation -- to figure out their anti-dumping rates, thereby skewing the numbers.
