The Mumbai-based group, which boasts annual sales of over $500 million (€345.3 million) and distributes 450,000 metric tons of seafood annually, has established sales offices in Gdansk, Poland and Ilfov, Romania to sell frozen seafood, including pelagics, shrimp and whitefish.

“Markets in western Europe are saturated. We wanted to start in markets that are in development,” a company executive told IntraFish.

“From these strategic points, we can also sell into other fast-developing markets in these regions and beyond,” he said.
