Feb. 13 - WorldCatch News Network - Ending its eight-year ownership of one of the oldest seafood smoking companies in the Pacific Northwest, Icicle Seafoods announced Monday it had sold its Port Chatham Smoked Seafood’s business to Seattle-based NorQuest Seafoods for an undisclosed sum.
The asset-based sale included all of Port Chatham’s labels and its two smoking facilities, located in Everett and Ballard, Wash., Icicle Seafoods President Don Giles told WorldCatch News Network.
However, terms of the deal, including sale price, were not disclosed.
