Icelandic salmon producer Laxar is in negotiations concerning the sale of more than 50 percent of the company.
Both Norwegian and Icelandic companies are showing interest in buying into the company and a sale will more than likely take place during the summer.
"That’s correct that we’re currently in negotiations concerning the sale of just over 50 percent of the company, and both Norwegian and Icelandic companies are interested in buying.
"This will most likely be decided during summer,” Laxar’s Chairman Einar Orn Gunnarsson told IntraFish.
