Huw Thomas, fisheries and aquaculture manager with UK supermarket chain Morrisons is leaving the retailer to join the Pew Charitable Trusts in October, he confirmed to IntraFish.
He has been at Morrisons since June 2012, but will be joining Pew's ‘Ending Illegal Fishing’ project on Oct. 24, Thomas said.
Prior to that he has had various roles in companies such as King and Prince Seafood; Lyons Seafoods; Amanda Foods; Cumbrian Seafoods; and Maritime Foods.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he has also been a director Freya Food Solutions in Sunderland since 2011.
