Hillman -- a major supplier of Gulf Coast oysters and shrimp with two processing facilities in Texas -- owner and president Clifford HIllman, and several other employees pleaded guilty in January in U.S. District Court in Texas to charges they hired illegal workers and helped those workers obtain fake Social Security numbers and other government records.

Hillman faces up to six months in prison and a $3,000 (€2,200) fine, while the company may be forced to pay up to $500,000 (€368,600) in penalties.
