The owners of Hillman’s Seafood and Oyster Co. still do not know why their business was raided by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers on June 25, according to the Texas City Sun.

The newspaper reported that 20 percent of detained work force did not report back to work.

Hillman’s owner Clifford Hillman said he has not been told whether or not those workers were released by immigration officers.

“It’s a little frustrating not knowing what the investigation is all about,” Steve Hillman vice president of the company told the newspaper.
