Michael Thome has left his role as chief financial officer for the US operations of High Liner Foods, following the exits of several top executives since the Newport News, Virginia-based processor Icelandic USA was acquired by High Liner  late 2011.

Thome had been with Icelandic USA since 1997, first as financial controller, then as VP of finance. He was promoted to CFO of the combined company's US operations shortly after High Liner acquired Icelandic USA.
