Canadian seafood giant High Liner hopes to offset falling demand in the the traditional breaded and battered category with new products, particularly unprocessed seafood items.
"We are disappointed in the ongoing trend of lower demand for traditional breaded and battered seafood products as it continues to negatively impact our year-over-year sales volume," said High Liner CEO Keith Decker during Wednesday's conference call.
