The Lunenburg, Nova Scotia-based company -- which dominates the Canadian frozen seafood market and is expanding in the U.S. market – will launch Fire Roasters into retail in the United States and then into foodservice and retail in Canada later this year, said Keith Decker, president of chief operating officer of High Liner in the United States.

“In my opinion, Fire Roasters are the most exciting innovation in frozen seafood in the past 10 years,” Decker told IntraFish.

The product has been launched in foodservice in United States and will soon be rolled out in retail under the company’s Sea Cuisine brand, Decker said.
