The Cohen Commission is investigating the dwindling numbers of wild salmon in the Fraser River.
Anti-salmon farm groups says the farms are the main cause for the decline, while the industry maintains there are a number of factors at play and it's irresponsible to lay all the blame on farming practices.
The industry says it's hopeful the commission's months of diligent investigation will ease the anxiety levels of 6,000 people in this industry and let them concentrate on what they do best rather than worrying as their livelihood is threatened by twisted facts and misinformation.
