New York-based Harbor Seafood announced several big personnel on Friday.

Harbor Seafood also promoted Alex Cook from director of foodservice to VP of sales and marketing. Now overseeing sale and marketing divisions including foodservice, retail and national accounts, Cook will reveal the company's new look and its newly designed website at the 2015 Seafood Expo North America in Boston.

Tom Higgins, who merged his company, GF Higgins, with Harbor Seafood in 2008, is promoted to VP of purchasing.

Dennis Gavagan dons a new apron as a the new corporate executive chef; he was formerly the corporate executive chef for Marriott Hotels and Resorts for 20 years as well as the corporate executive chef at Nestle.
