The U.S. Department of Justice and Harbor Seafood have agreed to a consent judgment over 112 tons of Russian king crab the company allegedly imported illegally.

The US government alleges Harbor Seafood attempted to import crab illegally eight times through the port of Seattle. It claims the crab was caught in violation of Russian quotas and was not marked in accordance with regulations implemented by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under Lacey Act.

The crab was sold in July 2011 for approximately $2.5
