Norwegian salmon prices are still high going into next week, with some of the larger prices surpassing the NOK 60 (€6.30/$7) mark, industry players told IntraFish.
Although trading was far from finished as of Friday afternoon, there is a clear sign prices are recovering.
“It's outrageous,” one player told IntraFish.
“Even though there are few fish this week, there are expected to be more next week. Major players are closing down, and it appears to be slightly smaller fish available.”
There is some increased demand because of production towards Easter, he said.
