The value of haddock in UK stores fell to £192.7 million (€260.1 million/$296.8 million) pounds over 52 weeks to Jan. 3, a decline of £41.1 million (€55.5 million/$63.3 million) or 17.7 percent over the year prior, according to Nielsen Scantrack statistics.
Volume sold also saw a massive drop, falling to 19,147 metric tons, down 24.1 percent from 25,217 metric tons the year before.
