As reported by Fishing News International last December, the Norwegian fleet is seeing several vessel-operators switching over to headed and gutted (H&G) fish production, from fillet production, due to reduced crew costs and higher margins seen in the former.

One such company is Strand, based in Alesund, Norway, which is expecting the delivery of the new Havbryn and Havstrand  in late 2012 and early 2013.
