Forum members, who met last week in New Zealand, produced estimates that show increases for all species except blue whiting, which has reported declines every year since 2008.

Atlantic salmon production is expected to remain flat in 2010, with exports of 1.408 million metric tons, down from 1.431 million metric tons last year. The 2011 numbers are forecast at 1.508 million metric tons.

Within the salmon numbers, Norway is expected to boost exports from 867,000 metric tons in 2009 to 935,000 metric tons this year and 980,000 metric tons in 2011.
