Taiwanese feed company Grobest and Vietnam’s largest shrimp exporter Minh Phu have formed a strategic alliance to boost standards in Vietnam’s aquaculture industry.
The main purpose of this Gro-Minh partnership is to leverage on the strengths of both companies so that they are able to provide Best Aquaculture Practice (BAP) four-star certified shrimps to their respective customers, especially those in the United States and Europe, Liu Yi Sung, Grobest's vice general manager in Vietnam told IntraFish.
“It makes sense for us to partner with Minh Phu because it is the biggest shrimp processor in Vietnam and Grobest has the largest market share in Vietnam’s feed industry,” Liu said.
