Norway-based Grieg reported earnings before income, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of NOK 94.6 million ($16 million/€11.7 million), compared to a loss of 18.1 million ($3.1 million/€2.2 million) in 2008.
Net profit totaled NOK 87.6 million ($14.8 million/€10.9 million), compared to a loss of NOK 340.4 million ($57.6 million/€42.2 million) in the fourth quarter of 2008.
Sales for the company were NOK 473.9 million ($80.1 million/€58.8 million), and total harvest was 15,894 metric tons.
Grieg posted an EBIT loss of NOK 3.4 million ($575,200/€421,600) in its British Columbia operations, as sales were down from NOK 127.2
