The trustee of Seattle-based seafood processor Great Pacific Seafoods' assets has begun the process of auctioning off the group's equipment, inventory and leases to repay more than $12 million (€10.8 million) owed by the company.

Trustee Edmund Wood asked the court to allow JGM to auction all of the company's assets (office equipment, furniture and supplies) at the Seattle headquarters last week, and filed new motions Tuesday to sell additional items.

Earlier this month, Wood requested the court approve his proposal to lease Great Pacific's dock to Copper River Seafoods for the sum of $53,200 (€48,087) from June 21 to September 30.
