Ten years ago, the Hamburg-based firmwas the first company to sell Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified wildsalmon in Germany.
It is still expanding its range of certified products and has just launched MSC-certified small-bead Germancaviar.
MSC-certified Friedrichs Germansmall-bead caviar from herring roe is available now.
“When we introduced our Kodiak wildsmoked salmon in 2002, we were one of the pioneers in this area, and the firstcompany in Germany to sell MSC certified wild smoked salmon,” says KathrinRunge, Marketing/PR Manager at Gottfried Friedrichs.“And of course we aredelighted that MSC certified products have taken off so well in recentyears.”
