Jan Soppeland, manager of Blue Planet, said this year’s conference will be opened by fisheries and coastal affairs minister Helga Pedersen, who will speak about global growth in terms of the aquaculture industry.
AquaVision will be held from Sept. 25-27 in Stavanger, Norway.
Aqua Vision is divided into five sessions. The first session will concern whether it is possible to ensure sustainability for the aquaculture industry’s global success.
Besides Pedersen and others, World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) leader in the United States for fish and aquaculture, Jason Clay, will be a guest speaker.
