The new factory extension costing £500,000 (€745,366/$1 million) should be open by September.
Much of Foreman’s £12 million (€17.8 million/$24.7 million) revenue comes from the processing and resale of sea bass and sea bream from Greece and Turkey, though the company handles other species such as Dover sole, tuna, and swordfish.
Increasing amounts of the company’s sea bass and bream destined for retail and foodservice outlets in the United Kingdom are being processed locally in Greece and Turkey.
“We are taking more processed fish in than we are whole now,” said Managing Director George Foreman.
