Greenland Seafood Wilhelmshaven on Tuesday confirmed the acquisition of all of the shares in French processing operation Gelmer Group -- including Pickenpack Europe -- from Asarmona, which was announced by parent Pacific Andes last week.
The deal was completed on April 12, the company said.
It will add about 20 percent to Greenland Seafood's overall production volume.
“We are very excited about the many opportunities that this acquisition will unlock to expand our production and customer distribution,” said Allan Jensen and Patrick Barinet, both managing directors of Greenland Seafood.
