Figures from the Norwegian Seafood Export Council (NSEC) show shipments of whole farmed cod from Norway in Week 24 totaled 122 metric tons, at an average kilo price of NOK 26.53 (€2.97/$4.16).
Volume increased from Week 23, when 107 metric tons were exported. Price-wise, there was a decrease from NOK 27.38 (€3.07/$4.29) per kilo in Week 23.
Last year, Week 24’s export volume was 48 metric tons at NOK 36.15 (€4.05/$5.66) per kilo.
So far this year, exports total 2,920 metric tons of whole farmed cod, averaging NOK 26.66
