Horse meat masquerading as beef in Europe has had an unexpected consequence: the online version of The Telegraph, a major UK media publication, ran a story titled: "Why I'm investing in salmon, not beef" on Tuesday, written by fund manager Barry Norris.
In the story Norris explained why he was betting on rising salmon prices, and probably for the first time, farmed salmon was portrayed in a rational light, different from the usual misreporting that often stems from the more militant in the green brigade.
