The creditors of Pesca Chile have accepted an offer from Ager SA, a subsidiary of Chileaninvestment group Inder Investments, to snap up the Chilean subsidiary of Pescanova for $45 million (€35.2 million).
Inder Investments is controlled by the Del Rio family, which alsocontrols Friosur.
The company won the bid and bought Pesca Chile at $45 million (€35.2 million), reported Diario Financiero.
The bid is for $37 million (€29 million) but will climb up $8 million (€6.3 million) depending on if the fishing quotas recover during 2015 and 2016, sources told the paper.
