Fresh tilapia fillet imports to the United States did not change much between the first two months of 2013 and this year, dipping slightly, 200 metric tons, but the frozen fillet imports grew dramatically, rising 19.9 percent, from 29,676 metric tons last year to 35,587 metric tons, according to recently released statistics from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
