A fourth lawsuit emerged on Friday against the biggest US tuna producers -- Starkist, Bumble Bee, and Thai Union's US division Tri-Union Seafoods, which sells Chicken of the Sea tuna.
Earlier this month, New York-based Olean Wholesale Grocery Cooperative and San Jose, California-based food wholesaler Pacific Groservice Inc. Pitco Food filed a class-action lawsuit alleging the three producers conspired to fix tuna prices. Texas-based wholesale grocery and restaurant supply company Affiliated Foods, Inc. sued the same tuna companies, as well as King Oscar.
