Tor Olav Troim, the former right hand of Norwegian magnate John Fredriksen, this week not only announced his departure from the Marine Harvest board but from the salmon industry too.
“There are many that are more adept than me in that regard, and there’s already an excellent company called Marine Harvest, so I don’t think so,” he told IntraFish when asked if he is interested in investing in salmon.
At the end of July, the news broke that Troim was parting ways with Fredriksen, to concentrate on “fewer investments” in the Fredriksen system.
