US crab meat distributor Phillips Foods is hiring a former Icelandic USA sales executive as vice president of retail and club sales. Tom Sherman, the new hire, penetrated accounts with Target, Walmart, BJ’s and Costco while at Icelandic and has more than a quarter century of experience in retail food sales.
The company is also adding two other executives to its US sales team as part of a sales team expansion.
“We have elevated our business model to a strong focus on a sales and marketing strategy,” Steve Phillips, president and CEO of Phillips Foods, said.
